Balancing your career and family is important.  Tinker AFB supports our workforce and their families in achieving a quality of work/life.  Some of the program and services that Tinker offers include: 
 
Banking
 
Banking opportunities through the Tinker Federal Credit Union and First National Bank of Midwest City are available in several locations throughout the base. 
 
Blood Donor Programs
 
Tinker AFB promotes the blood donor program.  Several times a year the Blood Mobile will be available at the base.  Employees can receive up to 4 hours of administrative leave for blood donation.
 
Child Development Program
 
The Child Development program is located in two facilities on base.  Both centers provide quality developmental care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years by certified and well-trained child care providers.  Enrolled is accepted for children of active-duty military and DOD civilians assigned to Tinker.
 
Education
 
Education and Training office offers on base college courses from major universities for employees seeking a bachelorís or above degree program.  Civilian Tuition Assistance Program is available for degree seeking employees.
 
Health and Fitness
 
Tinker AFB maintains four staffed Health and Fitness centers which features state-of-the-art equipments that provide employees the opportunity to receive instruction from certified health, fitness, and wellness professionals.  A 110-acre greenway on base provides jogging trail.  The Fit 4 Life program will meet your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.  Employees can receive up to 3 excused hours (out of a 40 hour week) for participation in a fitness program.  
 
Family Days, Sports, Travel
 
Star Spangled Salute & Fireworks each year. 
 
Youth activities for children include Tae Kwon Do, Dance Classes, and the Youth Leadership Exchange
 
Outdoor recreation offers a diversified group of programs throughout the year.  The programs include backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, snow skiing, scuba diving, white water rafting, sailing and horseback riding.
 
 
Information, Tickets and Travel offers airline tickets, package tours, cruises, hotel and car reservations, and discount attraction tickets.
