The Education and Training Partnership is a joint program of Tinker Air Force Base and the State of Oklahoma education system. The ETP is an initiative to promote the benefits of employment at Tinker. The key players for the ETP program are Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Career Tech, Oklahoma State Department of Education and Tinker Air Force Base.
The ETP is guided by a committee structure compromised of members from the educational institutions and Tinker. Committees include members from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology, the State Department of Education, and colleges and universities within the State of Oklahoma accredited by the North Central Association.
Tinker will annually provide a projection of skills needed to the Oklahoma educational institutions. These projections will be a forecast for the upcoming two fiscal years and allow institutions to market the job opportunities.
